Synthetic Architecture – the Cube

I was very interested in creating immersive experience that uses more than just a vr controller, I’d like to create more dimensional experience. So I came up with the idea of using a Rubik’s cube as a controller, and the environment that it is controlling is a giant Rubik’s cube. After starting, the cube will start shuffle, and the players has to solve the Rubik’s cube room with the cube on his hand.

I started prototyping with controlling a game object with a rotary encoder, reading the angle from arduino then send serial data to unity
